I was trying to track where they landed at first but after about 800ft you couldn't see them anymore so it was a waste. Seriously there were a lot of 400ft+ homers this past weekend.

I am curious....for a homerun derby anything goes as far as bats right? You always see people sell shaved bats for "homerun derby" only. So is it fair to assume these guys (although they are proven beasts) are swinging hot bats?

I know there were a few "homerun derby" bats being swung but I am pretty sure that for the most part the guys bats were legit. Every homerun they hit would have cleared with any stock bat either way. Might have been a few feet shorter but they had plenty of distance.

Jeff Wallace's swing looks effortless.. I like Robo's swing. Compact swing right into the ball.
